KRPK Bakery App — mobile ordering for a bakery's retail partners
The next step after the web portal: ordering from the phone, right on the shop floor

- The bakery's web ordering portal: ASP.NET Core MVC, EF Core, MS SQL Server, jQuery, Bootstrap
The problem
I had already built a web ordering portal for the Krivoozerska bakery: retail outlets place their daily orders themselves instead of waiting for a call-centre call. The portal solved the main problem but left one friction point. Orders are placed by shop assistants and small-store owners, usually on the shop floor and mostly from a phone — and opening a browser for a daily routine action is one step too many.
I set myself the task of designing and building a mobile app that turns the daily order into a few taps while keeping the full logic of the existing portal: contracts, returns and limits.
The solution
I built a mobile app around the daily routine of a retail outlet, keeping every rule of the web portal.
Ordering in a few taps
A product catalogue and a table-style order form adapted to thumbs and small screens. Choosing the customer account and contract stays in place but no longer blocks the everyday path.
One-tap reorder
The key feature for a daily rhythm: most outlets order roughly the same items, so yesterday's order is repeated in one move and edited if needed.
Returns with limit control
A dedicated module by customer account and contract, with the available amount calculated automatically. The outlet sees its limit before filing a return, not after.
Deals where they get noticed
Promotions appear at the moment of ordering rather than in a separate tab nobody opens.
Order history
The full history at hand with filters, so a delivery can be checked without calling a manager.
Results
The project is complete: a finished mobile app covering every key scenario, built on my own initiative from the real processes of the existing portal — ordering, one-tap reorder, returns with limit control, deals and order history.
Shop assistants place the daily order in a few taps right on the shop floor, under the same contracts, returns and limits as in the web portal.
